About Eagle Pathway and the Tiny Home Project:
The intent of Eagle Pathway is to develop a Christian-based, safe, educational home environment for young women & their children who are exiting foster care programs. Young women departing their foster homes often lack options for safe and reliable housing. Not only might they feel abandoned, but they may also need help to develop a plan for their future. Life can certainly seem overwhelming, especially for those who are teen mothers. Eagle Pathway intends to bridge the gap between the foster home and society at large. Eagle Pathway’s goal is to emphasize the refinement of social skills and development of strategies for obtaining education and job opportunities, thereby empowering individuals to be self-sufficient, successful, contributing members of society.
The Tiny Home Project encourages individuals to be outdoors and socialize more within their community. It gives the individuals their own space without all the added expense. Since the tiny homes will use solar energy they will be less expensive to power as well. The tiny home communities will house young adults ages 18 to 24 years old.
