Kicks 4 Kids Event

Kicks4Kids is a community outreach event for families and students in need. Each student (Kindergarten to 12th grade) that is registered will receive a backpack with school supplies, a pair of shoes in their size, a free hair cut (if desired) and breakfast the morning of the event. Spots are limited, and the student must be present the day of the event to receive their items. Event Registration Opens on April 27th!

If you are interested in helping with Kicks4Kids, we have multiple areas to serve! We need people to help distribute products, set up/tear down, serve breakfast, provide haircuts (if you are currently licensed), and more!

If you are interested in your business or organization hosting a collection bin for school supplies, backpacks, or shoes, please email Kenzie Anderson at

We will be collecting brand new sneakers, school supplies and backpacks starting on April 27th. Specific shoe tags will be available at each campus starting at the end of May. Use the provided list of school supplies!

Join us as we love and serve those who are experiencing homelessness in downtown Phoenix. This outreach happens every Sunday! Second Chance Ministries is looking for people to come help serve dinner, make food, and are always available to take clothing and food donations to help meet the needs of those experiencing homelessness.

Every Sunday at 6pm

Central Ave & Rozer in Phoenix. We set up in the lot just past the baseball field.

What is it?

We go out in the community (malls, parks, events, apartment complexes, anywhere there’s people) and love on people through our service, praying with them, encouraging them with our words, offering food boxes to those in need, and inviting them church. Come and join us on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Meet in the Mesa foyer at 9:15am.

We meet on the last Saturday of every month at Living Word Mesa in classroom C-7.

We are a church that believes in growing and building strong families. This drive is an opportunity to help our Living Word family members when a need comes up. See the list below of items that we are constantly accepting for families in need.

Wig Sisters is a community group for women experiencing hair loss for any reason. This is a great place to receive more information, support and encouragement as you walk out this season of life. Refreshments will be provided! For questions or more information, contact Haley McCoy.
