Billboard JV (Grades 6-8)

Where do the teens meet?

We meet in the Youth Room adjacent to the Fellowship Hall.

When do we meet?

Our services are as follows:

Saturday                      5:00pm

Date Night                   6:00-10:00pm

Sunday                         9:15am & 11:00am

What is Date Night?

Date Night is an opportunity for parents to have a night to themselves while knowing their children are being cared for. Date Night is provided in children’s and youth ministries after the Saturday 5pm service. We ask that children attend our 5pm service in order to attend Date Night. From 6:00pm to 10:00pm the teens will be fed and engaged in fun and exciting games. At BJV your child will have a chance to meet and fellowship with other Christian teens. Occasionally we take the youth OFFSITE to enjoy a night out in a controlled environment.

Who is watching over your child?

Pastor Aaron and April Nichols are the Youth Pastors and Kerry and Deanna Boehmer are the Billboard JV Coordinators. Besides engaging with like-minded peers, your kids are being cared for by some of the best volunteers and staff. Our volunteers are young at heart and have heard a calling to the ministry of the youth. They have also undergone an application process and background check. This is important to us because these volunteers not only protect your child’s physical well-being but also their spiritual growth.

Why is BJV different?

We want kids to know that God is good and church is fun! Our focus is not on getting kids to follow a bunch of religious rules but on introducing them to Jesus and helping them to know Him for themselves. We believe that a relationship with Jesus naturally leads to making good decisions. However, we also make sure that they are staying safe; physically, emotionally and spiritually. There are boundaries and guidelines to make sure everyone is protected and has fun.
