What is it?:
Our Living Word Prison Ministry works to serve and love inmates throughout the United States. We do this through letter writing, donating books and bibles, supporting those coming out of jail or prison, and going into Pinal County Jail to teach the Gospel. If you have any questions about our prison ministry, please contact Kenzie Anderson.
Where is it?:
Classroom C7 at the Mesa Campus
This group meets on the last Saturday of every month at 9:30am. See you there!
We proudly partner with Overcomer’s for Christ. They help distribute encouraging newsletters to inmates all over the country, as well as personal letters. Come and help put the newsletter together, or help write to an inmate.
When is it?
The last Saturday of every month in C7 at Living Word Mesa

Living Word has the opportunity to serve inmates, in-person, at Pinal County Jail in Florence, AZ. We serve both the womens and mens side of the jail.
What is the time commitment for this?: Pinal County has requested that if we are sending in-person volunteers, that they opt to serve in the jail 2 or 3 times a month. This helps the inmates and officers build relationships with the volunteers.
What is it?: As a jail volunteer you help lead services in the pods of the jail. You help lead a small group in worship, scripture reading, prayer and teaching. We ask that if you are part of this, you participate in Living Word’s Team Teach program.
There is a special onboarding process for becoming a volunteer in the county jail. We work closely with Pinal county during this.
If you are interested in serving at Pinal County, please email Kenzie Anderson for more info. (Kanderson@living-word.com).
